Delhi Public School (DPS), Gandhidham, is a School that provides an array of activities & events for the students like Dancing, Music, Art & Craft, Swimming, Skating, Cricket, Tennis, Soccer, Horse Riding, Basketball etc. In order to carry out all these activities at the highest standards, all necessary facilities are available.  The students are encouraged to develop their talents by participating in these activities, keeping in mind their interest and innate potential, Professionals are appointed to hone their talents further.

DPS takes special care in garnering the sportsman-spirit among the students by training them in different sporting events such as Tennis, Basketball, and Cricket. The adjacent playground provides opportunities for these outdoor sports.

The School also provides activities like skating. Skating increases the balancing skills and helps to give a recreational activity. Skating is one of the most efficient ways of exercising.

Dancing help children to develop their personalities, gain self-confidence and improve their skill of expression. Children develop fluency in movements and actions, and learn to express themselves emphatically, in a creative manner. Dramatics, Debating, Quizzing and Public speaking are also given adequate importance.

Physical development is at least as important as mental and spiritual. Next year the swimming pool will be made. Presently the children are taken to Holiday Resort for swimming session. The School also provides training in horse-riding from qualified instructors.

Adventure Camps, Treks, Educational Tours, Safaris, Field Trips, and foreign tours are a vital part of the curriculum as these are essentially organized to teach children survival skills, facing hardships / adversities with aplomb, Joys of corporate living, sharing and caring, team spirit besides enhancing knowledge and developing sensitivity for the environment, flora and fauna.
