Children of preparatory class wore graduation robes . They received their certificates on stage from Mrs. C.Lobo, co-ordinatior, pre-primary dept. Children of nursery danced to entertain the parents who had come to witness the event. Light refreshments were also served.
With the help of teachers, children made cards with marble paper, paints and chart paper. This was a take-away activity.
For the competition, children copied from the black board. Three winners were selected from each class.
Children filled disposable cups with mud and planted seeds in it. They were placed on the window sill in class where they would be watered everyday by the children themselves.
All children participated in various running and prop races held on this day. Parents too participated in races conducted specially for them. A blood donation camp for parents was organized too.
Children came dressed in purple t-shirts and brought any purple object for show and tell.
Teachers explained the importance of each fruit that the children had brought from home. It was later cut , decorated and served to the kids.

Children were taken to Rajvee Resort where they enjoyed sitting on the various rides such as dragon train, aeroplane, santa claus merry go rounds etc.
Children stuck star stickers on x’mas tree cut-outs which were later stuck on a card bearing ‘Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’.
Children coloured a picture given to them by the teachers. Each class was given a picture according to their level. Three winners were selected from each class.
The kids were taken to watch ‘Chotta Bheem’ movie at Om Cineplex by the school buses on this day.All of them thoroughly enjoyed watching it together.
During the Trip, Teachers showed them the various departments in a super market such as cash counter, provision dept, clothing, toys etc. It was an informative Trip.
Teachers explained this concept through practical demonstration. Various objects were put in a bowl of water while the children were encouraged to think.

A picture of a parrot was colored green with the child’s thumb print. It was a take away activity.
Different pictures of animals were brought by the kids and stuck on a big chart paper to make a collage.
The children were shown a working model of a traffic Island. They were told about traffic lights, signals, zebra crossing etc.
Girls brought rakhis from home and tied them on to the boy’s wrist who gave them sweets in return.
Girls dress up as “Radhas’ while boys dressed as ‘Krishna’ for the competition. Later on,all danced together after breaking the customary earthen pot tied on a rope.
Children of various classes performed various dances on patriotic themes. After a talk by Ma’am Dhara on the importance of Independence day, sweets were given to all.
Children tied a friendship band, made by them, on their friend’s wrist.
Rain Dance was enjoyed by all the students of Pre-primary.
Kids printed designs with the help of lady’s finger and beans on to a picture of a flower pot.
Children were shown how bubbles are formed in soapy water. They were also given an opportunity to touch, observe and form bubbles in the tub.
Kids brought some tomatoes, cheese cubes, boiled potatoes, crackers etc. Teachers show them how to decorated them with these ingredients and all enjoy eating the same.
Students Visited the Post Office.
On the seven colours of rainbow, teachers drew the kids’ hand prints on marble paper. This was cut and arranged to form a rainbow.
Kids wore orange t-shirt along with the school shorts/ skirts. They also brought an orange object for show and tell in class.
Each child brought a mango from home. The teachers explained the types of mango got, its colour, taste, etc. They had fun eating it together
Kids wore blue t-shirts and brought a blue object from home for show and tell. Nursery coloured various blue objects while preparatory class did blue pencil shaving on a picture of a fish in their art activity book.
Children wore outfits that mismatched like western bottoms with a traditional top, one shoe with a sandal, etc. This day is meant for having fun.
Foot Printing of each child was done with paints on chart paper which was later given to be taken home.

Children will bring lemons and with the help of teachers will learn how to prepare lemon juice and enjoy the same.
Children will be taken to the school clinic, garden, library etc to make them familiar about the school surroundings.
Children will make a puppet with an origami sheet and the same would be stuck on an ice-cream stick.
Nursery children will copy alphabets from A to Z and prep children will copy a small passage in cursive handwriting from the blackboard on the paper provided by the school. Three best students will be selected from each class and certificates will be given to them.
Children will do blob painting on small size of chart paper and the teachers will cut it, into the shape of butterfly and stick it on ice-cream stick.
All the children will come wearing black & white t-shirts on their school shorts/skirts. They will bring one black & white object and speak few lines on it. Children will also color grey color object in their activity book.
3-D model of stars & planets will be shown to the children. Teachers will explain to them meaning of star & planets and give them some more information related to stars & planets
