DPS Gandhidham is an initiative of Padma Education & Welfare Society. The School was established in memory of Mr. Chandrshekar Ayachi''s Mother, Mrs. Padmaben N. Ayachi for fulfilling her dream of providing quality education to the children of Gandhidham and the adjoining areas. Now the School is all set to realize her cherished dream.

DPS Gandhidham can boast of an imposing campus, state of the art infrastructure and an excellent faculty, handpicked from all over the country under the expert guidance of the DPS Society. Christmas Celebrations
Christmas was celebrated with lot of gaiety and a joyful spirit in the school on December 23, 2011. On this special day School organized a Class Party for all Classes which was "Icing on the Christmas Cake" for all the students.

Inter House Graphics Competition
Inter House Graphic Competition for Classes III to V was organized on December 21, 2011 in the Computer Lab where all the young participants shows their computer skills in terms of graphic design. The team of Columbus House stood first in that competition.

Inter House Quiz Competition
Inter House Quiz Competition for Classes VI to VIII was held on December 17, 2011. The students participated with lot of enthusiasm. The way the students answered indicated that they take a lot of interest in all the activities and are well aware of the current affairs.

Inter House Cricket Tournament was held on 23 to 25 November, 2011 . The final match was played on 25 November, 2011. Columbus House won the tournament.
